Day 1 – Cairo
Arrived at the airport of Cairo where our representative
will accomodate you and assist in the various steps to
follow. You will be then accompanied in the private car to
your hotel. Night in hotel.
Day 2 – Cairo
Breakfast in plate hotel. Visit of Gizeh with the three
large Pyramids: Khéops, Khéphren and Mykérinos; and the
Sphinx, Lion with human head which incarnates the king or
the god under an aspect avenger. Then visit of the
necropolis of Sakkarah with the famous pyramid with degrees
of king Djoser, the royal pyramids, the funerary texts, the
mastabas.... And to finish the day, visits of Memphis, a
colossus of Ramsès II out of alabaster of beautiful
dimensions. Night in hotel.
Day 3 – Cairo / Aswan
Breakfast in hotel. Visit Citadel of Saladin, with in its
enclosure the mosque of Mohamed Ali. also the coptic
district, this district is older than the city itself: it
should be seen to have an idea of the atmosphere in which
the first Christians in Egypt lived Coptic Churches, Coptic
museum, church of Serge Saint. Stop by the visit of the
Egyptian museum ,Antiquities, founded in 1857 by the French
Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, who shelters more than
250.000 parts of which the fabulous treasure of Toutankhamon.
In evening transfer in private car to Cairo station to take
overnight train to Aswan.
Day 4 – Aswan
Breakfast in hotel . free day ( optional day trip to Abo
Simbel ). Night in hotel
Day 5 - Aswan (navigation Monday,
Wednesday or Friday)
Early the morning, arrival in Aswan, reception by our
representative and Visits Temple of Philae, dedicated to the
worship of the Isis goddess, then the granite career with
the Unfinished Obelisk and finally the High Nasser Stopping
giving rise to the Lake Nasser. Transfer to your boat,
installation in your cabin. lunch. Departure of the boat for
return to Luxor. To dinner on board followed on one oriental
show (evening costume with Eastern spectacle: dancer and
traditional music). night on board.
Day 6 - Kom Ombo/Edfu/Esna
Breakfast on board . Visit Temple of Kom Ombo, whose
characteristic is to be dedicated to two divinities: Sobek
(with head of crocodile) and Horus (with head of falcon).
Navigation towards Edfu. lunch. Departure in the barouche
for the visit of the Temple of Edfu, the Holy City of Horus
and the temple built in its honor. This temple with
extravagant dimensions is preserved best of all Egypt.
Navigation until Luxor. Dinner and night on board.
Day 7 – Luxor
Breakfast on board . discovered of the Valley of the Kings,
where the majority of the Pharaons of XVIII to the XX
dynasty were made bury and the Valley of the Queens, is the
necropolis of the royal wives, of the girls, sometimes of
wire of the kings of XIX and XX dynasties. Then continuation
towards the two imposing Colossi of Memnon, last vestiges of
the gigantic funerary temple of Amenhotep III which does not
exist nowadays any more. And finally the visit of the Temple
of Hatshepsout, the funerary temple of Hatchepsout,
dedicated to the Amon god, but also to the gods Anubis and
Hathor. This temple thébain is single and is distinguished
from the other temples because it is partly dug in the rock
of the mountain thébaine to which it leans, and rises on
three terraces connected by approach ramps. lunch. Visit
Temple of Karnak, dedicated to the main thing of the worship
to the glory of the Amon god, but like many other Egyptian
temples, other gods and goddesses were venerated there. It
is the known religious site oldest in the world. And the
Temple of Luxor, It was devoted to the dynastic god Amon
under his two aspects of celestial Amon-Rê and ithyphallic
divinity. The currently visible oldest parts go up in
Amenhotep III and Ramsès II. Dinner and night on board.
Day 8 – Luxor / Cairo
Breakfast on board . free day ,then transfer in the private
car to Luxor station to take overnight train to Cairo
Day 9 – Cairo
Today will transfer to Cairo airport for your departure
flight
