Your tour guide will pick you up with a private air-conditioned vehicle, you will visit the catacombs of Kom el-Shuqafa, an ancient Roman necropolis, whose family tomb is a fine example of the fusion of art and architecture, Egyptian and Greco-Roman. You will continue with Pompey’s Pillar, a column of granite 25 feet high built in honor of the Emperor Diocletian, who freed the besieged city and brought food to the starving inhabitants. Then you will visit the Roman Amphitheatre, potentially the best preserved Roman site in Egypt. This site includes the ruins of a Roman street and homes. Then you will visit the famous library of Alexandria. Unlike the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, the building design is a monument to Norwegian outstanding design. Then Visit the Citadel, fort of Qaitbay, built in the fifteenth century near the place of the famous lighthouse of Alexandria. After Visit, Drive back to Alexandria Port.
