Itinerary

Our team welcomes you upon arrival at Cairo Airport before Passport Control, with a sign bearing your name and that of the agency. Help and assist to get your Visa, cross the Passport Control, Carrying your baggage and cross the Custom. Then you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to your hotel. Check in at hotel. (Optional: Enjoy Sound and Light Show in Giza). Overnight at hotel. Meal: none

Breakfast in hotel. Morning, our tour guide and private A/C vehicle will pick you up at your hotel. Enjoy an excursion to visit the legendary majestic The Three Pyramids, which are considered one of the Old Seven Wonders, erected by Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerionos. the famous pyramids: Cheops (the largest built circa 2650 BC. JC.), one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world and the only one that has stood the test of time. It was for over 40 centuries the highest monument erected by the man with a height of 146 meters. When you finish exploring the Great Pyramids our next stop is a visit to the Sphinx monument; guarding the royal burial chambers and temple of Cheops. It is a mythical statue with the body of a lion & human head. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramid of Chephren. (optional: Camel or Horse Ride). Following by Visit the necropolis of Sakkara, used as a cemetery for thousands of years, and still hides many secrets in the desert sand. The Pyramid at Sakkara is one of the oldest stone structures in the world. It was built during the Third Dynasty (about 2630 BC) for King Djoser and its construction was overseen by his vizier Imhotep. End of day, transfer to Giza Train Station for take the First Class Sleeper Train go to Luxor. Dinner and overnight in train. Meal: Breakfast, dinner.

Breakfast in train. Morning, arrival at Luxor Train Station, welcome by our representative, then you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to your ship for a four nights cruise. Check in and Lunch on board. Afternoon, Visit the Temple of Karnak, dedicated to the glory of the god Amun, the temple probably the most grandiose of all Egypt. Continue your visit by Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III, known by its size and its large number of silent pillars. It connected by a paved alley of sphinxes of 3 kilometers at Karnak Temple. Morning, arrival to Giza Train Station, welcome by our representative then Visit the National Museum of Antiquities including the treasures range from the prehistoric age to the Roman period. You will see among others the famous treasure of Tutankhamen. It houses over 250,000 pieces, is one of the largest museums in the world. It allows visitors to discover the history of ancient Egypt through five millennia. Then, Visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, with in its enclosure the mosque of Mohamed Ali. The citadel was built on the hills in 1183 AD Moqattam overlooking the whole city was a point of defense against the Crusaders. Photography is allowed in most of the historical sites and museums in Egypt, but some of them have extra charges for taking in a camera. in some museums, like the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, and some historical sites, like the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, photography is prohibited and visitors are asked to leave their cameras at the reception before entering.

Most of the shops in Egypt open from around 10 AM and stay open until 10PM; however, many shops, cafes, and restaurants especially in major cities stay open much later and some facilities and shops are open 24 hours.

Most of the monuments, historical sites, and museums in Egypt open from 9 AM until 5 PM. Open-air historical sites, like the Pyramids of Giza, are open from 8 AM until sunset. Some museums have morning opening hours, from 9 AM to 4 PM evening opening hours, from 5 PM to 9 or 10 PM. During Ramadan, the holy month of the Islamic calendar, be aware that these hours will change significantly.

In less touristic places, relatively modest dress is recommended. Women should avoid very tight clothing, keep their shoulders and knees covered, and avoid very revealing necklines. Men should also avoid particularly revealing clothing. wearing shorts is not very common among Egyptians. Dressing with relative modesty is a way of respecting the local culture. The metro in Cairo has separate cars for women that might be more comfortable, especially during rush hours when the cars can be very full.

In a restaurant, it is good to give between 5 and 10% tip directly to the waiter. For a small favor, like carrying luggage or parking a car, a few Egyptian pounds would be appropriate. Not more than five. Often times in Egypt you will find someone tending to the bathroom to keep it clean. Giving them one Egyptian pound is an appropriate amount. Tipping your tour guide and vehicle driver is completely optional but should be considered if you're provided with great service. If you decide to tip feel free to give what you think your experience was worth.
