Itinerary
Arrival at Cairo Airport, where our representative will greet you and assist with formalities. You will then be transferred in a private vehicle to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Giza Plateau to see the three great Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, along with the Sphinx—a lion with a human head representing a king or deity in a protective stance. Next, explore the Saqqara necropolis with the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, royal pyramids, funerary texts, and mastabas. End the day with a visit to Memphis, home to a magnificent alabaster statue of Ramses II. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure to Alexandria in a private vehicle. This city, founded in 332 BC by the Greek architect Dinocrates under Alexander the Great's orders, is steeped in history. Begin with the recently restored Qaitbay Citadel, followed by Pompey’s Pillar and the Roman amphitheater at Kom El-Dikka, uncovered in 1963. After lunch, visit the iconic Bibliotheca Alexandrina with its futuristic design, which houses a library and an archaeological museum. Continue to the Kom El-Shoqafa catacombs, one of the most significant Roman burial sites in Egypt. Return to Cairo in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Citadel of Saladin, featuring the Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Continue to the Coptic Quarter, one of the city's oldest districts, showcasing the atmosphere in which Egypt's early Christians lived. Explore Coptic churches, the Coptic Museum, and St. Sergius Church. End the day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, founded in 1857 by French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette. The museum houses over 250,000 artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart in a private vehicle to El Fayoum Oasis. Visit the Meidum Pyramid, the surprising Qarun Lake in the desert, and its seven wells. Explore the Roman ruins of Karanis and the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. After lunch, admire one of Egypt's largest and most fertile oases, with villages seemingly untouched by time. Return to Cairo in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
